Tack!

New project, Sav Snaps
Art direction and design of the 500ml bottle Sav Snaps. The product is a further development of Sav Sparkling – the sparkling birch wine. From a recipe found in archives from the 1700s, Peter Mosten harvest the spring sap from specially selected birch trees. This is a procedure prior to Peter reading of the vegetation around the birches to ensure that the sap contains the right minerals and the right ingredients. The sap is tapped and refined into snaps.
SDL contributes to the ”The changing faces of Bowie” poster
Over a hundred artists and designers have contributed to a typographic screenprint created exclusively forthe V&A as part of its activity around its imminent David Bowie Is exhibition (March 23-July 28).
The print’s designer, Blam (aka Mark Blamire of Print-Process), approached dozensof designers inviting each of them to produce the word ‘Bowie’ in a favourite or bespoke typeface of their choice or creation. The final print showcases 101 responses from contributors that include Ian Anderson, Pentagram, Anthony Burrill, Matt Cook Intro, Crispin Finn, Angus Hyland, Trevor Jackson, Michael C Place, Emmi Salonen, Spin and Stockholm Design Lab.
Each artwork comes with a certificate and an insert with insights from the contributors on their submissions.

Museum, art gallery, tasting room, meeting-place, bar, restaurant and open-air café. On May 24, Spritmuseum opens at Galärskjulen on Djurgården in Stockholm, with three exhibitions intended to entertain and provoke.
Stockholm Design Lab has been working with the project since 2009 and started by developing a whole brand platform for the new musuem. The ambition is to create a new smart cultural institution on the same level as the most prominent ones in Stockholm. The project consists of naming, brand identity including everything from signage program, restaurant menues and books to physical environments and communication. The identity is based on the content in the museum – transparency, liquid, history – spirit. The shape of the building forms the symbol of the museum – a cocktail glass. Cheers!

The theme Cherry Pink was interpreted by a photograph of a sample neon sign made for Moderna Museet in Stockholm. The unique typeface is called MM Gridnik and is a special version of Wim Crouwells original typeface from the 1960s. It consists of two words JA (yes) and NEJ (no). We stare at these words everyday and believe its what design boils down to. To make decisions. For yourself and for your clients.
