Norrlandsoperan

Since NorrlandsOperan was founded in 1974 it has developed from a regional opera ensemble into a centre for the performing arts, based in the north of Sweden. By using the initials of the name in the logotype, we have created a strong and memorable identity that unifies the broad range of acitvities that the centre offers today; opera ensemble, symphony orchestra, dance and music departments and a contemporary art gallery.

The logotype is both provocative and playful, reflecting NorrlandsOperans vision to provide a venue for new artistic expressions and strive to be both traditional and provocative in its work.
