Stockholm Design Lab is a globally recognised, independent design agency driven to create a long-lasting impact through our holistic approach to design and branding. As a Motion Designer, you will be an important part of the creative team, conducting work ranging from concept development and prototyping through to execution. Designing and producing motion graphics for a variety of projects and world-leading brands, continuously finding ways to push our approach. Craft and detail are key at Stockholm Design Lab and you should have the ability to adapt to various creative styles, mediums and executions. 

Responsibilities
— Execute on adding thoughtful animation to client brand identities and product experiences.
— Work in a highly collaborative environment with our team including Creative Directors, Strategists, Designers, UX and UI Designers.
— Experiment with different creative techniques, tools to mock-up and the ability to prototype ideas quickly.
— Produce conceptual animations that are engaging, unique and/or intuitive. 
— Generate ideas and inspiration, receive feedback and give rationale where relative.
— Able to meet deadlines and keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications
— A curious mindset and interest in working on projects with storyboarding, narrative, product and branding projects.
— Passion for design, art, typography, illustration, communication and visual storytelling.
— Relevant education within motion design, animation, graphic design or the art.
— Advanced skills using After Effects and other relevant motion and 3D software (such as Cinema 4d, Lottie, Houdini, Blender, Maya, Rhino, Redshift etc). 
— Skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma.
— Experience and knowledge in processing/generative tools is advantageous.
— Animation to code via Lottie is a plus. Or similar code prototyping.
— Ability to present your ideas in English, verbally and in writing.
