Air Baltic is Latvia’s national low-cost airline. It’s been flying since 1995 from the base at Riga International Airport, and now serves most of Europe and Russia. Stockholm Design Lab replaced its previous identity featuring blue-and-white checks, with one that reflects the contemporary, confident character of the airline; a simple, sans serif typeface and a lime-and-navy-blue colour palette as fresh as the Baltic spring and the surrounding sea. Furthermore we developed a complete identity programme including production of dozens items.

The duality of the eyecatching green and the calming blue draws attention when needed, in advertising and on tailfins, and provides composure and sophistication elsewhere, in uniforms, cabins and vehicle liveries.
