Filippa K is a pioneering leading Scandinavian fashion brand. It is present in 30 markets through its own e-commerce, 50 brand stores and some 600 premium retailers.
Founded by Filippa Knutsson in 1993, it’s a label that breathes style, simplicity and quality, with its own stores across Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. The Ease collection, launched in 2006, was about relaxation, softness and elegance – casual, luxurious clothing to restore a sense of well-being.
SDL developed an entire brand for the collection that avoided predictable routes of Eastern imagery and yoga. This included the name, logotype, typography and branding, which was based on an animated ‘digital flower’ of greens, blues and browns. This constantly-changing motif appeared on bags and packaging, and in stores with calming electronic music, to create a seamless, contemporary, all-enveloping sense of tranquility and comfort.
