Japanese fashion brand Sophnet invited Stockholm Design Lab to a brand collaboration as part of its Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The collection Alphabets by SDL comprises prints that celebrate the visual, emotional, ideological, and human impact of typography. It includes Lab Antiqua (SDL), Alfred Sans (the Nobel Prize), and Abrsh Printer (Abrsh). The collection tells the story of each font, as highlighted by symbolic words.
Besides the seasonal collection, SDL were also assigned to create the identity for Sophnet collection Ex., a lightweight multi-purpose collection for those who travel the world in their professional lives. The collection features technical and sustainably sourced materials, as highlighted in a distinct and minimal design language purposefully applied to products, ads, and collateral.
